What is the Alberta Challenge?
The Alberta Challenge is a province-wide fundraising movement that brings together veterinary clinics, pet lovers, and sponsors across Alberta. Clinics compete in a friendly challenge to raise funds that help families afford essential veterinary care — ensuring pets stay healthy and loved at home.
Competition: Every clinic for themselves - go for glory and prove your clinic is Alberta’s fundraising leader.
Winner: The top fundraising clinic will be crowned Top Dog and receive a clinic lunch and a feature in the magazine.
Timeline: November 1, 2025 - January 31, 2026.
Important Update: Starting this year, only clinics that participate in the Alberta Challenge and raise funds will be eligible to access Tails of Help financial aid for their clients.

How to Participate in the Alberta Challenge
Joining the Alberta Challenge is simple! Follow these three easy steps and help us keep pets and families together.
- Sign up and download the toolkit and other resources
- Host fun events like pet photo days, bake sales, or donation drives — every effort makes a difference.
- Send in your total funds by February 10, 2026, and join us in celebrating Alberta’s top fundraising clinics!
